VR Tech Team Member

We are looking for a exceptionally talented and tech-savvy VR Tech Team Member who can service the stages that deliver our immersive hyper-reality experiences. The VOID is a fast-growing company, and we need a talented VR Tech Team Member to help us to success as we charter our path to the future. This person will join our Tech Operations team. The ideal candidate is someone who has exceptional tech support skills and can maintain a high level of professional competence under pressure. Help us build the future of The VOID!

  • Understand high-level VOID systems to troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Monitor the health of the stage and battery levels for VOID proprietary hardware
  • Escalate and document issues appropriately
  • Ensure the proper use of safety practices and procedures while operating the attraction in addition to opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by constantly monitoring the immediate area and surroundings
  • Perform Dispatch Tech role and responsibilities as business needs require
  • Maintain and repair VOID proprietary computer hardware
  • Document any RMA or shipping needs to VOID HQ in Utah
  • Service VOID proprietary computer hardware in and out of attraction rotation
  • Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly routine checks
  • Escalate and document issues appropriately
  • Perform Dispatch Tech and Service Tech roles and responsibilities as business needs require
  • Service VOID and 3rd party software including, showroom controls, point-of-sale, printers, visual displays, Wi-Fi routers, check-in kiosks
  • Respond to escalations from Service Tech and Dispatch Tech
  • Learn VOID proprietary software to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues
  • Service VOID proprietary computer hardware in and out of attraction rotation when Service Tech is not present
  • Escalate and document issues appropriately
  • Cover breaks for Dispatch Tech as business needs require


    • Applicants must be at least 18 years old
    • 2-3 years of experience working in a high paced technical service setting
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; college level course-work in related field preferred
    • Professional, well-groomed appearance and demeanor
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted, bend, twist, and kneel
