THE VOID is a fast-growing company and we are seeking a rockstar C++ Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, motivated, and passionate about VR. Help us build the future of THE VOID together.

  • Develop technology to power the magic of the VOID in C++, Unreal Engine, and C#
  • Create APIs and tools for engineers and content creators to rapidly develop VR experiences
  • Consult with team leaders, managers and stakeholders to gather and review requirements
  • Work on a self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented team
  • Meet and follow development schedules
  • Document, design, develop, and test and deliver low defect software
  • Modify and enhance existing software
  • Promote new ideas and make sound technical decisions
  • Mentor other developers and team members
  • Support third-party content developers in the use of VOID technology


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in C++ and C#
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience developing software in C++
  • Strong 3D math skills, including linear algebra, vectors and quaternions
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle
  • Multi-threading experience
  • Understanding of SOLID principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills


  • Masters degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, physics or robotics
  • Track record of applying and implementing research
  • Shipped at least one game or VR experience with Unreal Engine
  • TCP/UDP networking experience
  • Experience with unit testing
